SEKONG:- The leaking
drain piping behind one of the shophouse blocks in Leila Township at Jalan
Leila was recently replaced.
Filthy water the leaking drain piping flow onto
the concrete path below and left the vicinity smelly. It also created an
eyesore.
Batu Sapi Member of Parliament Datuk Linda
Tsen Thau Lin instructed her officers to replace the leaking drain piping after
residents sought her assistance to help replace it.
Linda inspected the new drain piping during
her “turun padang” programme to her constituency. She was accompanied by Head
Liaison Officer of Batu Sapi MP Office Kong Nyuk Thou.
Shop owners and residents expressed relief
the problem had been looked into by Linda almost immediately after she was
notified.
They also thanked Linda for her concern on
issues affecting Batu Sapi constituents.
