SANDAKAN:
The new commanding officer of Sandakan Marine Police ASP Che Mazrie Che Mahmud
received a courtesy call from Sandakan Yacht Club committees led by Commodore
Richard Lim (林紫靈)
at his office here yesterday.
Kelantan-born Mazrie assumed duty
as the commanding officer of Sandakan Marine Police more than three months ago.
As Sandakan Yacht Club is located
just next door to the Sandakan Marine Police base, Lim(林紫靈) and Mazrie exchanged views on
matters related to enhancing rapport between both sides.
Lim took the opportunity to thank
the Sandakan Marine Police for extending assistance to Sandakan Yacht Club
during the staging of the Asia Pacific Interport Balut Championship and
Sandakan Regatta/ Sandakan River Race/ Sabah Closed.
Also present during the courtesy
call were Vice Commodore Paul Wong (王和仁), Rear Commodore James Leong (梁駿健) and Honorary Treasurer Jeremy
Chan(陈在仁).
Other marine police officers in
attendance were Inspector Hafiz Ogob and Inspector Abdul Kata Burijin.
