SANDAKAN: The
Sandakan District Tennis Association (SDTA) appreciates the continued support
extended by Sandakan Municipal Council president Datuk James Wong and Sandakan
Municipal Council to SDTA.
This message was conveyed by SDTA president Fernando D.
Rulloda when he and his committee paid a courtesy call to Datuk James Wong at
his office in Wisma Perbandaran.
“On behalf of SDTA, I will like to express our profound
gratitude to Datuk James Wong and also
the Sandakan Municipal Council for rendering support towards SDTA
acitivies,” Fernando said.
Fernando also briefed James Wong on SDTA’s preparations
for the upcoming 30th Inter-Affiliate Tennis Tournament hosted by
SDTA on 28 to 30 May.
More 200 players from the nine affiliate associations
throughout Sabah will be participating in the Sabah Tennis Association event
which will be played at the SDTA clubhouse, Fernando added.
The SDTA president also took the opportunity to update
Datuk James Wong on SDTA activities and ongoing repair of facilities at the
SDTA clubhouse.
Also present during the courtesy call were SDTA vice
president Mary Chin (陈云逑), Honorary Secretary James Leong (梁駿健) and Honorary
Treasurer Jeannie Koh (陈淑珍).
